What Freelance Treasury collects, why it is collected, and the choices available to you.

Last updated July 15, 2026

Information you provide

We collect information you choose to submit, such as your email address when you join the newsletter or your name, email address, and message when you use the contact form.

Do not send account numbers, tax identification numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial information through the contact form.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, hosting, security, and analytics services may process basic technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, pages viewed, referring page, and event timestamps.

This information is used to operate the site, prevent abuse, understand which guides are useful, and diagnose technical problems.

Cookies and affiliate attribution

The site may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, audience measurement, and affiliate attribution. When you follow a partner link, that partner may place or read its own cookie under its privacy policy.

You can limit nonessential cookies through browser controls and, where provided, the site’s consent settings. Blocking cookies may prevent an affiliate referral from being credited but should not change the price you see.

Newsletter email

If you subscribe to The Treasury Note, your email address is processed by the email service used to deliver the newsletter, handle unsubscribes, and measure basic delivery performance. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Freelance Treasury does not sell newsletter addresses to data brokers or unrelated advertisers.

Service providers

We may share limited information with vendors that provide hosting, security, analytics, form handling, email delivery, and affiliate tracking. They receive only the information reasonably needed to provide their service and are expected to protect it.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or site security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but access is limited and reasonable technical safeguards are used.

Your choices and requests

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your email address, subject to applicable law and records we must retain.

Send privacy requests to privacy@freelancetreasury.com. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Children and policy updates

Freelance Treasury is intended for adults managing self-employment income and is not directed to children. If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of the page will change.
